Two thirds of trusts are cutting dedicated services, says RCN
Trusts are slashing specialist nursing care for patients with conditions such as cancer, the RCN has found.
A survey of almost 800 specialist nurses conducted by the college revealed that nearly two thirds are seeing cutbacks in their specialist area. More than one third are being asked to work outside their specialty to cover staff shortages.
